This necklace features a cast sprig of sumac buds that hangs from a comfortable, delicate chain.

The sumac tree (not to be confused with poison sumac, which is an entirely different plant) develops sweet little buds in early spring. The arrival of the buds heralds the end of winter.  

This is a great everyday necklace, either by itself or paired with the sumac earrings. It’s a fun necklace to layer, too. I’ve been enjoying pairing this necklace with the poppy pod charm necklace.
