Cherry tree bark is cast in sterling silver to create this strikingly unusual ring. It is adjustable and incredibly comfortable.
The first thing you might think of when you imagine a cherry tree is its delicate, ephemeral blossoms. You might think of the tart or sweet stone fruit produced by some varieties. Or maybe you think of cherry wood, a favorite among woodworkers. The first thing that comes to mind likely is not the tree’s bark, though I would argue that it’s incredibly underrated!
Cherry bark features unusual holes called lenticels that act as pores for the tree, allowing it to interact directly with the atmosphere. When I was hiking recently, I came upon a fallen cherry branch, and the bark slid into my hand wholly intact! When I cast it, I couldn’t get over how beautifully these holes and the texture of the bark itself translated into silver.
Note: Please tell me in the note section what your ring size is. I will adjust it to that size so that it will fit well when you receive it.
